Toilet Floods Bathroom Causing Water Damage

These Upstate South Carolina homeowners suffered major water damage to 8 different rooms when a toilet overflowed, flooding the rooms. Due to the nature of the loss, the water damage is considered a category three loss. This means that our production crew needed to take extra measures to properly mitigation the home. The homeowner was happy to have things done right, instead of it being a rush job. Our crew took measures to prevent any microbial growth and fully sanitize the area with SERVPRO approved cleaning products. The extensive damage meant that the mitigation process took a decent amount of time to complete, however our customer was fully aware of this from the beginning. Our project manager made sure to walk them through the process before we began.
